"Floating in Space"
06.jpg

‘Floating in Space’ was made in 2001 by welding steel wire with a diameter of 3mm (0 .1’’).  It is a spatial drawing in which the density of lines is reduced to a minimum. The empty space in between is as much a part of the display as the sculptures themselves. The suggestion is more important than the tangibility.  Inconspicuously written either on the wall or on the floor of the gallery is a line from a song by the British band Spiritualized: 'So please put your sweet hand in mine and float in space and drift in time'.

The dimensions are variable depending on the size of the venue.
This work is the property of The Museum of Contemporary Arts Vojvodina in Novi Sad, Serbia.
